What is mindfulness? (Taken from The Counselling Directory)
Mindfulness aims to reconnect us with ourselves to alleviate stress. It also helps us to feel more attuned with our emotions and generally more aware of ourselves both mentally and physically.
During my time as a counsellor I have discovered just how valuable mindfulness can be for people's well-being. I found it can improve people's ability to focus their mind, enhance self-awareness, and transform stress management.

Mindfulness Programme
Places available for course starting May/June
Learn the practice of mindfulness over the course of an 8 week programme.

Mindfulness training helps us become more aware of our thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, we’re better able to manage them
Mindfulness lessons will teach the fundamentals of practicing mindfulness including mindful meditations and how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. This 8 week program can be completed one-to-one or within a group.
The application process is open all year round and as soon as we have received enough interest we will be scheduling the next course.
The course was created by Mindfulness Now.
